This product is no c wire adapter that i can tell. It only has two wires in a plug. Nothing for the furnace or heat pump circuit board that your usual c wire adapter comes with. I was not able to use this product with the product it is advertised to work with. There are no instructions nor do the instructions posted on the product page work. Words to the effect “ hook it up to your c wire†tells me nothing. I do not recommend anyone buying this product

No instructions for using with Amazon Smart Thermostat. It does create 24vac however there is no clear way to hook up both wires.

Wire is thicker than most and wire much cheaper, harder to work with, but plug size is smaller than most

It did not put out enough power to power my Amazon Smart Thermostat. I can't return it now because the return window has closed. The only reason it closed is because it took so long to find out why nothing was working. Very disappointing. I had to have a professional finally figure out that the adapter was the problem and not the house wiring.

When I first bought this product I thought you just connected 1 wire to the c on a thermostat but it's not true. The c wire will be the white wire or constant and the black or hot wire needs to go to one of the 2 R wires on the thermostat. Completely works as intended and works well with my current smart thermostat

There were no installation instructions and no wire clips included with the item. I had to go online to firgure out how to install it.
