Keeps the kids out of the cabinets. For the most part they are easy to remove, but can get stuck under the knobs on my cabinet doors sometimes.

These are good quality locks, however, you have to pay attention to how you put them together. One side of the locking piece will lock, the other side will go on the right way but will not lock. If you have them turned the wrong way, the cabinets will open if pulled on. There is a small lock indicator on the plastic. I did not notice it at first but afterword have not had trouble. They are great when used correctly.I love that they don't require adhesive or screws.

Got these because I can't find the safety 1st on Amazon. These are not very good. They use friction more than a ratchet like the safety 1st. Difficult to pull on and off. If you want a set of doors closed for the most part, these will work. If you are in and out of those doors often, skip this product.
