Things that I find acceptable in this microwave after almost a year of using it: it cooks things ok.Things that I find annoying: the idiotic design choices. Why does it have a dial to adjust times? What was wrong with a numeric keypad like any sane person wants? It’s incredibly irritating to use it and have to muck with it to get the time correct.The fact that you can’t just silence the timer with a normal cancel button but you *must* use the timer off has confused every single person who uses it.Things that infuriate me and caused me to write this review: I had my microwave professionally installed, it meets all clearances with the cabinetry outlined in the document. Because the idiot engineers who designed it decided to put the screws for the front grille on the top and then didn’t bother to adjust the clearances correctly, I’m unable to change the filter without breaking the grille cover off.Look elsewhere. It’s a giant piece of crap to own.

Handle began peeling at 13 months. One month after warranty expired. Do not recommend GE.
