It's truly made for musicians. The low-light option turned out to be good for videotaping—it doesn't appear too bright on the recorded video.

I'm happy with my purchase now I can take these to my choir rehersal and easily clipped to my music. There are also handy when reading other materials. I recommend them. I love that I can change the to whatever I want.

after only a little use it has become almost unusable. The USB connection apparently is not one of very good quality and it does not maintain a good connection with the cable. The result is it that it constantly disconnects and re-connects with my computer. This results in the lights flickering on and off and Windows sounding a tone and flashing a message that the USB device I just plugged in is not recognized.I'm pretty sure it won't be long before it no longer works at all due to the faulty USB connection port.Update: 6/30The company contacted me via email showing concern over my disappointment that the USB port had failed and wanted to provide some compensation. Since I could no longer use the USB for power they offered either a 50% refund or a replacement light. I opted for the replacement, since my original goal was to keep this plugged into my computer for prolonged periods as an accessory light for peripherals that I use for flight simming. Constantly putting in new batteries is/was a pain. After a few quick email exchanges I had a brand new light in my hands in less than 2 days. This one did come with a very long USB cable and also a velcro cable tie. The cable tie is a great little addition and it allowed me to tie the cable in a loop and anchor it securely and hopefully it will keep that port from becoming loose. See photo.I have no way of knowing at least at this time whether or not this replacement light will hold up over time but I will say that the response from the company certainly does display a high degree of customer service and that is something that we don't get much of these days.I will update this review again if this light fails prematurely. If you don't hear back from me within 6 months or so it means the light is still doing its job.

I had a 4 light model to put on my music stand to add more light. It required 3 AAA batteries and worked OK. While stored away the batteries leaked (they were separate, but in the same box) and damaged it. So time for a new one. I saw this version from Cahaya and gave it a try. Also using 3 AAA batteries, it is WAY brighter than the 4 light version! Each light has a push button to turn it on and it cycles through High, Medium, Low, then Off.Also an improvement are the arm lengths - longer than my 4 light model (see photo) so I can adjust it better to light the music. I can't speak to battery life, but this seems to be a quality product and is incredibly bright.

We use these for music stands and piano lights. They work great with a free standing battery pack so a direct plug in is not needed and a dead battery is never an issue. The dual light is especially nice for illumination music books on the stand. We just bought a dozen more for our Handebell stands at church! With the extra long cords (included), a USB splitter and one outlet, we can light a whole row of 6 music stands with one plug in outlet.

I’ve had this light since March and it really is fantastic so, I’m here to buy another one. I have mine plugged into a battery pack and it works very well for me that way. You can have the heads pointed different directions; and on different brightnesses or, not on at all. They both have independent switches. It’s very nice and bright. I primarily use mine for crafting, drawing, painting, journaling/planning, crocheting and, also reading/writing. It’s very versatile and portable. I have had no problems with anything on it at all. It’s the best portable, adjustable, bright, affordable, all around craft little light I’ve found but, it could have many uses. It’s 10$. If you’re reading this and are looking for a light, you have that 10$. Just buy it. What do you have to lose.?
