I bought these to replace the factory locks on my Keystone's outside storage doors. They were far easier to install than I had expected and the instructions guide you through the process. The cam key can be a bit finicky to get settled into the lock but I expect that it will ease up with a few uses and is probably just user error.

These locks are great!! Excellent replacement for the CH571 key locks that everyone has a key for! Very easy to install and feel so much better having the security of a good lock.

First off, I will say, if you have a cabinet for which you are changing locks, such as in an RV, make certain that you measurement of the door thickness is accurate. This will determine whether the lock barrel will fit correctly. I did, but the locks still did not fit. Unfortunately, these well built were past the 30 day cut off for return, so I am stuck with 8 locks. I still do recommend this product.

Although the item was described as new, it appears it had been a returned product. Box had been opened and one part was missing which I fortunately did not need. One of the lock faces also had 3 scratches in the chrome finish. The locks work and I installed them anyway. Buyer beware.

Takes a few minutes to figure out the little cam which controls the key removal but otherwise all you need is two open end wrenches, three hands to hold the door, the lock and prevent the washers from falling off the barrell while you tighten the nut on the barrel inside. I eventually discovered that I was installing them into doors which were not as substantial in strength as the steel lock itself, so I had to control myself not to over torque these locks, because they would just crush the door's paneling. By the way, the 7/8 in. barrel was an exact replacement for the Grand Design OEM locks.

Like the lock! But when you order, the length to be measured is not the entire lock but just the thread. I measured the entire lock and they were long, but I managed to adjust so that they were useable and I didn’t have to send them back.

They are very lightweight as compared to the original locks but work just fine.The biggest issue was to make sure that they all locked the same direction & the instructions were a bit challenging.They are a direct replacement for the originals.Would buy again

These are very solid tumbler locks that replace the very common storage locks on your RV. Nearly everyone who buys an RV has the exact same key for exterior storage, so the sooner you change these over the better. And these are a great choice as they have a cylindrical key and are very hard to pick
