There were other less expensive options but I'm glad I bought this one as it's a brand that I recognize and it seems heavy duty and well-made to me, and the cable feels just like the one coming out of my RV. I used this extension cord on a recent ten day trip for extra reach to a generator for running various appliances, including the air conditioner. I checked it periodically for any signs of overheating and it never felt abnormal at all to me. Just my own experience and opinions here, yours may differ. Thanks and good luck!

This thing works well, and survives Maine weather easily. I'm sure I will never need to replace it. I hang it on a wall-mounted garden hose rack when it's not in use.

I had been using a regular extension cord, but the ends were not holding up. Got this to use with my generator. That way I could get it farther away from my camper. This cord works great and love the carry strap.
