This is a HEAVY duty 14 gauge splitter, sold as a surface mountable, waterproof item. The BUILD quality of the unit is really solid. The full length of it is slightly over two feet, with the split being roughly in the middle.The problem here is, instead of having a simple screw-on flange feature, which would allow you to lock these in place from the front, you have to disassemble the units from the back, by unscrewing and removing the three wires.Then you must be able to reach behind your panel or cabinet, and re-insert the three wires, in the right, tight positions, and lock them back in place with a screwdriver in order to surface mount these. And you have to do it TWICE, once for each power outlet.As someone who has had to flex one too many times installing auto stereo systems and plumbing fixtures, this design failure knocks a big star off of an otherwise perfect.

This is a really thick corded splitter. It works well for any of your outdoor needs. It has covers over the plugs to keep them from getting wet, this is super convenient. These are made where you can put them into a wall permanently. Very nice, I would recommend.
