Really great product on a level concrete pad or ground. The design does allow for flexing over an uneven surface, but the slope is just relayed to the pipe. One would still have to prop the Sidewinder up to keep the downward slope and things rolling downhill. I do like the fact that the sewer line is off the ground and for that alone I would surely invest my money again. I was concerned that the Rhino pipe would have difficulty setting into the sidewinder, but it works great. Easy, compact storage is a huge benefit. I would recommend getting 6 inch mini bungee cords to hold the sewer line onto the Sidewinder. Lastly, the plastic is a softer plastic. I would have thought it would have been out of a harder plastic. We'll see how it holds up over time. Very pleased with product and will buy another one when this one wears out.

The Sidewinder hose support does exactly what it’s supposed to do, keep your stinky slinky off of the ground and, God willing, allow you to have a nice, smooth, run downhill to the rv park sewer connection. It can be a bit of an unruly beast occasionally, but it works as intended. If I were to offer one suggestion to Camco, it would be to make a taller version. On several occasions now, I have needed more height to avoid an uphill run at the end of the hose to the park sewer connection. An additional 4 inches or so would have come in handy more than once, I’ll leave that innuendo untouched. Overall, great product, I’ve had no issues with durability in any way.

I like the caddy / carrier; it keeps this "slinky" hose guide tidy & in order while in storage, and is easy to use for moving the slinky around. I bought this in 2020, used it steadily through today, July 2023. Earlier this year I wasn't cautious when moving it around, and broke the thing into two sections, about in its middle. Dismayed, I found I couldn't simply reattach it to itself using one of the hinged sections. But I DID use a couple of black, heavy-duty Zip ties to reattach the two sections, and I'm very satisfied with continuing to use it in its mended state. It definitely gets the job done for most campgrounds' sewer connections to my fifth wheel camper. In some campgrounds, their sewer pipe connection rises a bit too high out of the ground (it should ideally be flush with the ground). This can cause a low spot in the drain hose from my camper to the sewer hole. I use various wooden planks & short boards to raise the slinky up high enough so there's a continuous downward path through the sewer hose from the camper to the raised campground septic drain hole. Not convenient, but this slinky hose guide helps make the stuff run downhill without pooling up in front of a too-tall drain hole. I'd buy this again.

This sewer hose support is very durable and very much needed for anyone who has an RV or travel trailer. It is very easy to use. You simply pull out the sidewinder and place your hose on top and your hose will snap in place. You can also adjust the sidewinder for a longer length or a shorter length and it stays in place fairly well.Although the hose snaps in place, if you are on grass, it loosens when you are positioning or trying to do a quick drain of the hose. If you pull on one end too hard the entire sidewinder will fall. I have had that problem only while camping on grass, not on concrete. The sidewinder keeps the hose in place while or if I need to do a quick maneuver at the other end but on grass, it is not very sturdy and will collapse. So I have to touch it gently so it will remain in place and so far so good.UPDATE: I have had this product over a year and it is still very durable, and easy to clean and pack away for future use. Some of the sites that we have been to have uneven grounds. Luckily, the sidewinder is wide enough to place a piece of wood under the section of the hose that is drooping, allowing for a continuous flow.I would recommend this product and to be mindful and gently while pulling on your hose while on the grass.***If this review helped you a wee bit, let Amazon know with the Helpful click.
