These are wonderful cards. No glare, and almost a rubber foam feel. Not hard plastic or cheap paper. I’m pleasantly surprised by the quality. Definitely recommend.

The description suggests that one side of each card is matte and one side is gloss. In reality, both sides are gloss. In any event, a gloss finish for a color/exposure reference is pretty worthless, IMO. The color and brightness of the cards is heavily influenced by whatever is reflected in the glossy finish. Honestly, I did not bother to test it using a camera once I saw it, though I did hold it at different angles to see how different reflections completely changed the color and brightness of the cards. I don't see how this could possibly be better than just using the camera's auto-exposure and auto-white-balance. A good color reference card and white balance card should show the impact of the light that hits it from all directions, and is spread by diffuse reflection. A specular reflection (from glossy surface) only shows the character of the light that is specifically reflected by the card. This light character can vary greatly depending on what the reflection is aimed at.This product is NOT "better than nothing", in my opinion.

Better than nothing. Both sides of the cards I received are high gloss. I'm not sure what their idea of "matte" is?The first image is Nikon D5300, 1/13sec, f16, ISO100, Daylight WB.The second image is Canon M50, 1/13sec, f16, ISO100, Daylight WB.

En mi caso me llegaron las tarjetas con acabado brillante por los dos lados. Funciona muy bien , solo tengo que tener cuidado con los reflejos

I am very happy with this purchase and the overall quality of the items.The set includes a set of 2-sided cards with one side matte and the other glossy. The cards include:- Colour swatches- Black- White- 18% grayAlso included are a lanyard with printed ruler and a cleaning cloth that folds into a small bag/keychain.While these are clearly not the most accurate due to the printing process, it is certainly sufficient for informal colour, white balance and exposure checking. Meaning that it may not allow to calibrate with third party tools but it can be used to adjust colours between lenses, etc. I find it to be the perfect starting point for myself to better understand my needs before investing in a more expensive and precise system.I was also glad to see that the seller included a second 18% gray card which seems to be much more accurate. I can understand the previous reviews about it - the original (still included with the set) was no where near 18% - see second attached photo).So overall, great starting point for learning about colour correction and white balance or for basic calibration needs.Would definitely recommend.

Das Farbmuster ist zwar spiegelverkehrt, aber alles andere passt. Die Karten sind aus dickem matten Kunststoff und machen einen sehr haltbaren Eindruck. In der Beschreibung steht, dass man die Kalibrierstücke alle 2 Jahre tauschen sollte.

It is completely inaccurate colour table. I have colour checker table from 2008, x-rite. The colours in the table deviates substantially. The white and grey cards has tinted colour shifts - both are not neutral, and useless for white balance check or set.:-(
