I purchase several things on Amazon and was giving pretty in-depth reviews. From this point on, here's the new agenda…. if it works as advertised, is well made, meets or exceeds the description, is a value, and arrives in a fair amount of time, it will get a "star rating" equal to what my expectations were/are. If it doesn't meet these criteria, then I will most definitely and descriptively tell the short comings of the products and you as a consumer will not have to go through the trouble of buying the product without some background knowledge. If the sell pulls that item and relists under another description, I will put the exact same review on the seller's feedback page. Sellers have done this a couple of times in the past, and I was true to my word then as well as now. DR

Not the best workmanship, but it was able to do the job I needed it for and the price was low. Not a tool for everyday professional use, but for an occasional DIY job is was much more affordable than a professional tool.

Fair price, simple design and it works well. All metal, seems sturdy enough for DIY individuals like me. If looking for a pro tool try the $50 above price range.This is my 1st time cleaning a camera lens. I've always wondered how it's done and a couple of tutorial videos later here I am with this tool.I was able to open & clean 3 vintage lenses I have & bought for under $35. One has haze & the others just accumulated dust. Thanks to this tool all lenses are now clean & dust free. Definitely a good purchase!

Title sums it up , it's usable. Wished it had a larger expansion length and for whatever reason one of it's slotted tips had the corner shaved off, but it's not too much of an issue.

The arms that have the ointy things slide onto a central arm and tighten down. But when you apply force when you use the tool, the pointy things move, in other words, they don't tighten down. I nearly scratched an eyepiece because they moved!

Irregardless how hard you try, you can’t keep it locked in position. So as you are trying to tighten or loosen a lens mount, it slips out of position. This is absolutely garbage, please do not buy it!

Purchased to work on a 50mm Nikon lens. Worked well and is indispensable if working on camera lenses.
