If you are doing a blog or close recording it works perfectly. I needed a Zoom mic that would work from about 25 feet away and this had good reviews for close up but in practice as a zoom mic, the audio was terrible.

Very happy with the audio quality, sensitivity and output level. This replaces a much more expensive name-brand mike that was built like a tank but had lousy audio output. This mike comes with a foam windscreen and a fur-windscreen, outstanding. BUT it is totally constructed of thin plastic, so its durability might be a question. Considering the reasonable price, this is to be expected, just treat it with care. That's the reason for losing one star.

I've been working on setting up a youtube studio in my garage. My primary camera has a wireless mic set attached to it, i have this one on one of my side cameras. It's not a super quality product but I would say its about mid tier. Its going to be good for most voice applications, but I wouldn't rely on it to record music or a concert or anything where the audio quality and detail would be highly important. If you're recording yourself speaking, its a good buy especially given how low this price point is. It will mount on to a dslr or a camcorder, it uses a standard mount and standard mic input. The cord for the mic will stretch about a foot, though I cant imagine why you would ever need to stretch it like that.

Sometimes the audio is a little quiet but I adjusted my camera settings so we’ll see if that helps. Also, unfortunately, there’s no way to tell if the battery is dead or not, so I’ve just been switching it out periodically and hoping for the best.

I purchased this microphone because the built-in battery of the external mic that came with my camera (a Sony Handicam clone) wasn't holding a charge outdoors in the cold temps, and this was spec'd nearly the same but has a swappable AAA battery. I can only come to a couple conclusions about this mic: A) I got a faulty unit. B) It isn't compatible with my camera (which is doubtable as the mic that came with it works well aside from the battery drain) C) This is a bad product. On the normal setting it only picked up the sound of tapping directly on the mic--it didn't pick up my voice at all. On the +20db setting it picked up the tapping and my voice sounded like I was standing in the next room with both doors closed and a healthy dose of static mixed in. The camera's built-in mic is a professional mic compared to this product.

Soo I bought this mic to start a small hobby during quarantine. I started to get into videography recently and audio Is always the biggest thing for me, I cant stand a video with bad audio. Im always looking for bang for buck products when I shop and this microphone was definitely one. For the price, theres great audio quality and I love that its very portable. I didn’t want a very obnoxiously big microphone to get so much attention when I’m filming. As a beginner I found it very easy to set up and understand how to use. Also something that competitors don’t have is an included deadcat for blocking out wind noises. I started shooting vlogs with this mic and my camera, and it completely changed my overall production. Compared to the original camera microphone, this is a HUGE difference. I also love the fact that there is a green light on the side that helps you know when your mic is recording. I’ve had friends have problems not turning on their battery powered microphones and I love that I’ll always know when mine is on and plugged in. Not to mention it doesn’t require a battery! Thanks for this product, I plan on using it for LONG time! A+ Crisp Quality!!

Jag har köpt den här produkten men den kopplas inte till till kameran då kameran förstår inte att det är en mikrofon, + jag behövde köpa till en adapter för att kunna få in den till kameran men ändå kameran läste inte mikrofonen som en mikrofon
