i picked up this hose to use with an old air compressor that i'd been given. i also grabbed this and built a few accessories. the hose is sturdy and doesn't bind or catch, and the connectors snap in and swivel perfectly. in the cold temps of last week (~20 degrees) the hose was very stiff, but that's to be expected. this is a great product, and i can't imagine many others will beat it for the price.

My search for an inexpensive, lightweight "watering" hose found this. Yes, I know this is an air hose, but I figure if it can withstand the air pressure + the oil & water that a compressor pushes thru these hoses, what's a little water at 80 psi?The pros:+ Low cost of $9.99 with Amazon free shipping. I see this hose is going for $8.99 now, an even a better deal!+ Pretty flexible.+ Nice blue color.+ The brass 1/4" NPT male fittings look to be solidly crimped on.+ Advertised - Reinforced PVC hose.+ Advertised - Oil & abrasion resistant.+ Advertised - 3/8" x 25' long.+ Advertised - Working pressure of 200 PSI. â—„ The hose I received is labeled 300 PSI working pressure.+ Advertised - Brass 1/4" NPT male fitting at each end.+ Advertised - One year warranty.The cons:- No fittings included, other than what's crimped on, you have to provide your own.- Made in China. â—„ Not entirely a bad thing, but some may prefer made in USA.Closing remarks:â–ª With the correct fittings, this low cost air hose can be used as a light weight watering hose. :)â–ª This air hose construction is reinforced PVC with brass 1/4" NPT male fittings, so nothing to rust.â–ª Odds are good the brass fitting on this hose are NOT lead free, so the water passing thru this lightweight water hose should not be used for potable water.â–º Update - May 19, 2016â–ª I used this lightweight water hose today & I have to say it exceeded my expectations! Even better, this one cost $7.99 with free Amazon shipping!The attached pictures show my finished lightweight watering hose. I used two 1/4" NPT female to 3/4" GHT (garden hose thread) male brass fittings & added quick connect hose fittings.The black heat shrink tubing is used to cover the brass & to provide a bit more hose to fitting strain relief... plus it looks better! :)

Decent hose for the money. Soft and pliable. Connections are leak free and the crimps seem fairly strong. Only time will tell how durable the hose and connections really are.

I used this hose from my compressor to my Campbell Hausfeld 25' retracting hose reel, and it works great.It's a little stiff, but just using it for a supply line it works great. I ran it along the rafters of my workshop to my Craftsman 6-gal 5hp compressor to the reel. You'll have to buy the Female 1/4" adapter and the quick change coupling, and make sure you teflon tape all your fittings before assembling. Tested it with 150-PSI with no leaks at all, and held pressure for a few hours, till I drained the compressor for the night. I also sprayed this hose and the reel hose with WD-40 Silicone spray to keep it lubricated, and it won't dry out and crack. Hope this review helps. Thanks Amazon and Campbell Hausfeld.

Ordered the 25 foot non-coil version in February 2014. I've put it through fairly heavy use, using it almost every weekend for the first few years and at least a few times a month consistently since and it has held up strongly. I only now noticed what appears to be a small kink in one spot so I decided to look into just buying another to be safe since its so cheap, but it still works well. I purchased quick connects when I first got it and secured them with plumbers tape. Very happy with it.

Product was good but was advertised as 50ft during cyber monday. Was not 50ft only 25ft. Vendors fault not necessarily Amazon's but still no option after except refund ( even amzn rep saw problem)...disappointed

Nice air hose. Doesn't kink. Hose has a nice soft feel to it. Easy to coil up when I'm done with it. Good buy for the money.

A better hose than the last product I purchased.Softer and tighter end couplings.There is still a leak but small. At which point minimal (unless your are ready to 2 or 3x the cost) hoping some threaded seal tape will help.

This hose is great but I think it would best be suited in a reel. I can't stand the fact that it has a memory it won't lie flat and you end up tripping on it and coils into itself getting all screwed up as you are moving and working. It drove me batty so I got another hose with no memory and absolutely love it.
