I ordered this because it was the cheapest one and I did not want to spend $150-$200 for one, the shipping time was kind of crazy like a month and a week for it to get here, but it is what it is. I ended up getting this product for free because it did not arrive when it was supposed to assembly was pretty easy got it all set up and it works great.

The swivel valve broke when I was assembling, but the person I spoke with at the 800 number was helpful. They are sending me the new swivel valve and said they are working to upgrade it, because apparently it happens sometimes. It's because of the amount of torque you have to apply, but once you get it on it should work fine.

This hose reel was easy to install on our interior garage wall. We've had it for about 6 months and it's holding up great. It's currently holding a 50 ft hose and its so much easier to reel that in rather than roll it up by hand. Extremely satisfied with this purchase.

Wall bracket is heavy duty, as are the forks that make up the spool and the hub. The handle is suspect as it remains wobbly, even when completely tightened down. The most disappointing part was the air swivel fitting. The pipe threads are standard and well formed, but the wrench flats are odd sized (15mm as opposed to 9/16" or 16mm) and the flats are so short that any normal wrench gets pinched between the fitting and the hub before the fitting is fully tightened. A stamped steel disposable wrench is needed, but not included. I replaced the provided swivel with and extra one I had in my toolbox with longer wrench flats. The crank handle threads into the hub, so be careful which direction you wind the hose on. Get it wrong and the handle unthreads instead of spooling the hose.Bottom line, it does function, did not leak once I installed a swivel that I could tighten, and really is a good value for the price.

Works great and easy to put together. Absolutely 0 leaks. I feel like most of the leakiness that other users are talking about is from the lack of Teflon tape in the threads. If you wrap the threads in Teflon it takes the leaking away. I highly recommend for a manual hose reel!

I've been looking for one of these for a while now. This works like a champ. It was a little cumbersome to mount on the wall. However, I don't see how it could be changed to make it easier to get a wrench in the back plate to bolt it in.1 Suggestion for manufacturer. Fins sometimes hit the frame when winding. Make the back plate a little wider and add some washers to the accommodate for the extra space on the wheel mount.
