There is really just one reason why this is not 5 stars. It has to do with the long charging time. I ran down the battery to see how long it would take. As I suspected, it was over 7 hours. That would be a problem for me if the power is out for longer than a day and I have to use solar the next day to charge it. I think it would also not be a good light for camping since there is practically no way you could charge it fully the next day. This is mainly due to the fact it seems their goal was for it to work with standard USB-A connector that supplies a limited amount of current as compared to the high charging current of other USB-B plugs. I bet that was to save manufacturing cost as it also does not come with a charger (on a flimsy cable is provided. It should allow both for faster charging that a car or higher power block can provide.Aside from the above, it is VERY sturdy, well built, and has a super bright light. As someone else said, it would be nice if there were more separation in the 3 different levels of brightness that are available. The ability to have a red light is a good idea for night for better visibility that your pupils don't contract due to a white light and it saves a lot of battery. The battery will last much longer in that mode.

This thing is insane bright. Definitely need to turn it down, but perfect. Great size, I love it can serve as a power bank. Very handy.

I finally found a lantern bright enough for me. I wanted a lantern to use around the house when we had power outages. I first bought a 1000 lumen lantern but found it kind of dim. I next bought an 1800 lumen lantern and still found it not bright enough. This lantern is 3200 lumen, and it is very bright. It really lights up the area immediately around me so I can see things very well. It does take several hours to charge. The instructions also say to charge the lantern regularly during storage to maintain the rechargeable batteries.

I had hoped it would be bright, but I didn't expect for it to really be as bright as it says it is. Most product descriptions vastly over state product capabilities, but this one seems very close to accurate. I have not tested the battery life yet, but will update my post if it does NOT love up to expectations set in the description.

I bought this lamp for camping and also for emergency light at home due to power cuts. Anyway I was surprised by the physical size but very impressed by the brightness. Thinking about the size it's make it easier to transport and carry in my rucksack. I ordered a blue colour unit which was posted from Germany but arrived in a few days. Overall I am really happy.
