I'm using this to make a low profile mic boom for my office. I'm going to attach it to the bottom of a wall mounted bookshelf that is above my computer monitor . . . I have and use many CAMVATE accessories in my office and studios.

Works well, but the knurl will slip once (its screwed in from the bottom) it’s installed and it must be removed to adjust the mic if it breaks loose

I've bought a few of these types of things recently and they all seem to have the same problem. You mount it, you screw something onto it and then when you go to take it off, it just spins because the bolt holding the adapter on loosens in the back where you can can't get to it anymore to tighten it. This thing is absolutely worthless.

Works and it's sturdy, but only worth it if you plan on leaving it in place. The screw on the back comes off easier than unscrewing the mic so if you want to move things around you'll have to entirely dismantle it

I had a specialized use for this. I have a wooden desk I built and needed a way to mount a Pixel Display (Divoom Pixoo-64) with a microphone adapter. This required some work because the Pixel monitor needed a special M6 Male Threaded Screw Adapter. So it works great, but short story sometimes doing something takes some trial and error. However, this became the best solution.
