I had a mic mounting accessory that works fine but I needed a new mounting set up. Looked in Amazon for something to solved my problem and eureka, this item came to the rescue. It was exactly what I needed to mount an extra mic on my stand. It's build with very good materials and the machining of the metal looks very professional. Very satisfied with my purchase. It does what it suppose to do. As that simple.

This is a very clever and solidly built little device. The threaded adapter can be installed on the clamp in multiple places making it very flexible for live and recording.

Great little device. I use it to clamp a second mic, on a gooseneck, to the mic stand. Works very well.

Clamps strong & easy to use. What I found confusing was the Allen head screw that held on the male mic mount. It screwed almost all the way in, not giving the mic mount much to go on.Plus, there were no instructions. There are several hold all around this and nothing to show what they’re for.Overall I’m pretty happy with it.

I have used similar mic clamps made by other companies, but this is the best design by far, and is compact and well made. Surprisingly, they don't highlight one of the best features of this mic clamp, in the product photos and descriptions: the threaded part (on which your microphone clip or boom arm mounts) can be relocated to different locations on the Camvate clamp. Practically, this means you can have the mic-mount part of the threads oriented in either of two positions 90 degrees apart. So you can set it so your microphone clip screws onto either the narrow (end) side or the longer (clamp) side of the Camvate--that could be parallel or perpendicular to the floor in use. This is particularly helpful when attaching goose-neck or boom arm to another microphone stand using the Camvate. I plan to buy several more of these.

It does what it's supposed to do--holds a mic without loosening or falling. No complaints.

But it is GREAT! Tried this out in a few orientations - horizontally clamped to a shelf, attached to a 20 cm. tube, and on a square tube- and it gave a good grip for a 19" gooseneck. The best way is on a square tube at 45 degrees - it won't move! While it is little, the tightener is all metal, so you can really get a good grip, as long as the mounting surface can take the pressure.
