Very impressed that the metal is very sturdy and well made. I would not use the hardware that comes with the plate.... go to Lowe’s and purchase your own wall anchors/screws. But this worked great In my broadcasting shooting room. We mounted our lights on the wall vs having them junk the room up with too many light stands on the floor.Great price as well

I needed this to mount a small LED light on a wall. I use it to back light a green screen. The mount is stable and works perfectly; however, it is designed to screw into studs, not drywall. If you are going into drywall I highly recommend using high-quality drywall anchors. The screws that come with the unit will pull out under weight. The bracket itself is very sturdy. As long as it is mounted properly, it would carry about any type of photography light.

I don't use them as intended to hang lighting gear from the ceiling or wall. Instead, I got four of these that I mount as feet to a pair of Westcott Ice Light II's. Then I use the Ice Lights in Product photography and these 'feet' allow me to put the light down low or up high. And sometimes I lay the Ice Lights down so that they are about 1" in the air by resting on both feet. I'm really pleased with this solution.

Exactly what I needed to install a hair light in my garage that transforms into a photo studio twice a year for my apparel brands photo shoots. It's very non-descreet and out of the way when not in use. When I need it, I climb a ladder and attach my hair light. The price was great and I only used two of the included screws to attach it to a stud behind the drywall ceiling.

Works great! I have a drop ceiling in my basement and I built a 2'x2' ceiling tile out of some thin plywood and a reinforcing strip of wood on the back to screw the mount into. It makes for a useful, movable ceiling tile that I can mount a small softbox (LimoStudio 4x45W CFL) or back spotlight (StudioPRO Premium Spot Daylight LED) to.The mount is only limited by my drop ceiling, it's build well and could probably hold a lot more weight.

They work. Simple as that. (I'm hanging the Neewer LED light panel.) I was expecting to replace the screws with meatier ones, but the location I needed to mount them was nowhere near a stud. Does not appear to be a problem at all. They survived a full weekend of shooting and fiddling around without a millimeter of play.

Me pensaba que iban a ser peor, y me sorprendió para bienEstéticamente son discretos.En mi caso, para sujetas la cabeza de unas luces de 300w aguantan sin problemas.Montarlos dependerá también del tipo de techo que tengas.A dÃa que estoy haciendo la review el precio es de 64,49€, habiendo un descuento extra de un 20% a dÃa que hago la review.Resumiendo es un producto que está muy bien.Un saludo!

These two mounts arrive in a cardboard box and inside you’ll find two smaller boxes which contain a mount and 4x expansion screws. There is an installation leaflet inside which shows you how to use the expansion studs and how to complete the install. The mount has a reasonable amount of weight to it, and it feels well built. The base has a matt black finish with the middle section having a chrome finish to it. The thread has a plastic cap to protect the threads during transit which is a nice addition. Installation is simple as you drill your holes for the expansion screws and insert them with the nut on the outside. Place the mount over the exposed threads and secure down with the bolt. I had a bit of a struggle tightening them as when you tighten the nut, it is supposed to pull the shaft through the inside of the expansion bolt which causes it to expand making it secure. I found that the pin rotated with the nut so I had to get a pair of pliers to hold the thread of the pin so I could tighten the nut and pull the pin through. Once it started to make the expansion screw expand, I didn’t need the pliers then, as it gripped the outside casing of the expansion screw and then worked as it should. Once I sussed that technique out, the remaining three were quick to secure. I now have a small projector hanging from the ceiling in my daughters room. It’s only a small projector but it isn’t on the shelf now, and is out of the way, which is the whole purpose of these mounts. If you have anything that has a ¼†thread, then these mounts are an ideal way to move them off the floor…

Nachdem ich von der Neewer Softbox (80x80) sehr begeistert über die Qualität war, habe ich noch einige weitere Produkte von "Neewer" gekauft,So viel die Wahl bei der Suche nach einer Möglichkeit einen Studioblitz auf eine Fotobox zu montieren auch wieder auf Neewer. Die Alternative von Manfrotto gibt es nicht unter 20€ und für den privatgebrauch muss es ja nicht immer Manfrotto sein.Die Verareitung ist gut und sauber ohne scharfe Kanten. Die Löcher (ca. M6) haben einen Abstand (Mitte - Mitte) von ca. 6,5cm, die Platte selbst hat eine Kantenlänge von 8,0 cm.Die Mitgelieferten Schrauben und Dübel würde ich jetzt nicht umbedingt zur Wandmontage benutzen - das muss aber jeder selbst entscheiden. Ich habe die Platte mit M6 Schrauben auf eine Holzplatte montiert. Ein Loch musste ich minimal aufbohren, man hätte die Schraube aber zur Not auch ohne Bohren "reinklopfen" können - kein Grund für Punktabzug in meinen Augen.Lobend zu erwähnen finde ich die Öse für ein Safety, falls man einen Scheinwerfer über Personen aufhängen möchte.Der Bolzen an sich ist von unten mit vier Schrauben an der Platte befestigt.Fazit:Absolute Kaufempfehlung, gut verarbeitete und stabile Blitzhalterung für ein gutes Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis
