This meter seems accurate enough, at least for hobby purposes. The leads are too short to reach both ends of a large inductor. I’ll look for some longer leads.

As other reviews say, the leads are really short. But the length of the leads factor into your readings. So it takes a little bit of getting used to but you can make it work with longer leads.

Most of my usage is for 1w radial inductors on older amateur radio equipment, and mainly looking for dead pieces, so they're either close to rating on components or completely open circuits. Also tested a few electrolytic caps and all were very close to printed capacitance (ie. 47uf was 46.4uf).Funny thing, the zeroing knob did nothing at all in L and C modes (and I didn't have a resistor handy to test), regardless of shorting leads or with a component hooked up.Overall, very good unit for the price, but if you need absolutely accurate readings, plan on purchasing a professional LCR tester and prepare to spend 400+ bucks for one that's gonna get you to 1% accuracy.

Inexpensive. Works. Accurate.After testing with known parts, I measured unmarked small inductors and chip capacitors on a commercial PCB. Before I got this, I had used a signal generator and a known capacitor to estimate an inductor by the resonant frequency. This LCR meter worked in-circuit and matched my estimate within a few percent, but with far less effort. I should have purchased this long ago.

Can measure very low resistance value and capacitance. Will also measure inductance.

Unit stopped working after less than 5 months. It is only used for OHM/Resistance measurements on non-energized components (Guitar components: Potentiometers and Guitar Pickups). No reason for this unit to have quit working in such a short period of time other than it being a low-quality instrument. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THAT NO ONE BUYS THIS OR ANYTHING FROM CAMWAY. HORRIBLE, HORRIBLE PRODUCT AND CUSTOMER SERVICE FORM AMAZON
