I ordered this set of 30 floral foam blocks to use in outdoor pots for both artificial flowers and for added height in pots with decorative metal flowers. They worked perfectly. The foam is dense enough that you can push the stems or stands of the flowers into the foam, and they stay nice and securely in place. The foam is easy to cut to fit your size needs and with 30 pieces in the set, there are plenty to spare for future projects.

I think I prefer the regular brick size that floral foam typically comes in. These are just precut versions of that so if you usually use smaller pieces these are great to save the hassle and mess of cutting the larger bricks. They work great. I've only used them dry so I can't give a review on how they hold up when wet.

These foam blocks are much smaller than the standard size, but cut to the same proportions so that they look the same in photos. It's totally misleading. They might seem less expensive by the block, but they actually cost considerably more because you get less actual foam per block. I've had to nearly double the number of blocks I use per planter. Don't believe their measurements- these are NOT the same size as normal at foam blocks. I'd send them back, but I needed them the day they arrived, so I'm making do.
