This Camera Umbrella is specially designed to protect your camera from rain, snow, sunlight, bird poop, etc., which fits almost all camera hot shoe mounts.
The umbrella is sturdy and provides years of reliable use thanks to its premium waterproof polyester and stainless steel.
It is easy to mount to the camera by simply sliding into the hot shoe mount and rotating the locking knob to secure it.
The ball-and-socket joint provides 360° of swivel control and is tiltable down to a 90° angle. The ball-and-socket joint can be quickly swiveled, angled, fully tilted, or returned to its upright position by releasing the primary locking knob. In addition, the joint has a cut notch on the side that allows you to tilt down the umbrella within 90°. As a result, you can rotate the camera umbrella to any position for perfectly blocking the elements.
It comes with a waterproof drawstring pouch for easy carrying and keeping without wetting your bag.
The diameter of the Standard Size Camera Hot Shoe umbrella is 15''/ 38cm.
The diameter of the Large Size Camera Hot Shoe umbrella is 19.7''/ 50cm.

Careful with wind. But you would have to do that with any umbrella.Shades the camera from sun. Drizzle rain, bird/squirrel/tree droppings.

It works in a light sprinkle. Definitely wouldn't put it in the hot shoe during a heavy wind and rain.

It stinks I didn’t get a chance to use this until it was too late to return. When I went to use it it kept falling out of my camera, when I went to turn my camera to take a vertical picture it was hard to rotate it so I missed a few photo opportunities… just cheaply made. Would not recommend.

I bought the Camera Hot Shoe Umbrella for a sunny wedding photography gig, hoping it would shield my camera and reduce glare. When I arrived for the bridesmaid photos, the sun was intense, and I worried about overheating and glare in my shots. After quickly attaching the umbrella to my mirrorless camera's hot shoe, I was relieved to see it shaded both my camera and me! Not only did it keep my gear cool, but it also reduced glare, which was a huge help for clear, sharp photos.Attaching it was simple, and I appreciate the angle adjustment feature—it’s flexible for both horizontal and vertical shooting, which is ideal when switching between shots quickly.The only minor downside is that it was a bit smaller than I anticipated, covering mostly the camera but only my face and part of my neck. I noticed there’s a larger size available, so I might buy it to compare. Overall, this is a fantastic umbrella for photographers needing extra protection from the sun or rain. Highly recommend it as a game-changer for outdoor shoots! I got lots of people commenting on how cool it was. ;)

This will protect the camera but also me from bright sunlight and rain. Combined with a rain cover the camera can be used safely in all weathers

I am horribly light sensitive so when I came across this umbrella, I thought I would give it a try. Works perfectly in sunlight. It blocks sun from the back of the screen so I can see what I'm shooting. I love it!!

This umbrella might work if your camera is on a tripod and doesn't move at all, but it's completely useless for lifestyle portrait and wedding photography. I purchased it back in May, but only got to use it in action in July while it was pouring during a wedding. No matter how tight I screwed the mount on the hot shoe, it would come undone within a few minutes and the umbrella would fly away while I was photographing the couple. It was rather embarrassing and made me look unprofessional. If the return period wasn't expired already, I would have returned it to get a refund.

This product is definitely cool. Fits my camera well and seems like it will do the job. Haven’t had a chance to try it out in the actual rain yet but so far so good.
