This paper can be used for: sketching, drawing, light washes of ink and watercolor, collage, journaling, and more. It has quickly become the most popular paper in the Canson paper family. Mix Media paper erases well and blends easily. The wire bound pads have micro perforated, true size sheets. These pads were developed in consultation with art professors and combine performance with value for the art student. These pads contain 60 sheets of 98 pound/160 gram paper, acid free, 14" x 17" paper.

This is my favorite versatile paper to have in hand. I love the big size so I can use it or trim it down to a half sheet for smaller works. I love that it works with many different materials so it’s great to have if you are a fan of using multiple media in a single piece.

This product -- Canson XL mixed media drawing pad---is a regular purchase for me. What I most liked was the speedy delivery. Ordering from my usual supplier I have to wait a ridiculous span of time as the package seems to get lost, wandering around the Midwest for at least a week. Delivery time plus the price of the item is the same!

My favorite size for concept sketching. Works great on my desk easel and the paper is good enough for contest-submissions. I've used Water Color Pencil, Pencil, and graphite on it and everything looks flawless. The pages keep very dry and a little graphite spray and you're good to go!

There’s a lot of room to create images, it allows led pigment to show up clearly and not dull which can happen with thick textured paper, but not this one thankfully! It’s easy to erase on this paper and hold paint very nicely, paint doesn’t leak through or drag since the paper is thick. It’s a big paper bulk so if this has to be taken around by walking a large Art tote bag would be necessary it is a bit heavy.

first time I bought a sketchbook this big. Kind of hated it at first but then I started to get used to it. Obviously it's pretty big so not for someone looking for something to throw in a bag. But it's also not so cumbersome that you can't easily carry it around if needed

Got this pad to do a commission on as I have worked with this brand before and love it but needed a bigger size. So glad I was able to find this-it saved the day. The paper itself cannot have too much water on it so be careful if you use highly moisturised paint like water colors and such. But is awesome quality and a good price. The client was very happy and so was I!

Creo que en relacion precio/tamaño/funcionalidad es excelente, las hojas tienen un grosor bastante aceptable, perfecto para trabajar con cualquier tecnica seca, con acrilico y talvez una acuarela bien aplicada. el papel no se mancha. El tamaño es monumental, este cuaderno no es para tener un ataque creativo en medio de un paseo del parque, es un cuaderno muy muy grande, no cabe en ninguna mochila.
