Your cart is empty. This lamp is fully compatible with the Ultravation UltraMax AS-IH-1001 OEM lamp which sells at a much higher price. It measures about 12 inches, including the 4 pins at the end of the lamp. This specially designed lamp has a unique base specific to Ultravation air filtration systems. Its peak output is at 254nm (UV-C) for use in Ultravation air purification systems. The rated useful life is 9,000 hours.
NOTES: The sleeve covering the lamp increases the diameter to 7/8 inches. In some older systems, this diameter is larger than the cutout into which the lamp must be inserted. If you have one of these systems, we can supply a lamp without the sleeve.
If your lamp has a ceramic cap on the end, it will be about an inch longer. This does not affect the performance or compatibility of the lamp.
The lamp is used in UVPhotoMAX EZ-Light or EZ4X-Light upgrades, UltraMAX UME-Series, UltraMAX Gold, and UltraMAX EZUV systems including many of the UMX, UME, UVE, UVS, Photronic and Catalyst systems.

My unit has a free dangle cupped female connection with a shield having 2 "C" clips that supports tubes over HVAC condenser coils. Caprock ceramic pin depth fits correctly within the cup giving UV protection to the connector. Caprock tube's 11" length misses the 2nd "C" clip, however the slightly wider width is firmly supported by the collar clip. Caprock's element is pretty much, if not thicker, like the OEM's and gives a strong UV.These bulbs are rated for a years service, so I purchased another set in case of possible longevity issues. You could spend a couple hundred for a UV tester to see if year 2 has enough protection.Finally - 4 tubes @ approx. $100 versus $606+ OEM is a no Brainer.Thanks ONE WAY OUT SALES for the enlightening.

Have bought this UV bulb for the last several years and saved a ton of money. It replaces the one that the HVAC company wants to charge me a lot more for. Works great! I asked the HVAC company guy this year how it was working, and he said it's great!

So I don’t think there is technically anything wrong with the bulb but compared to the original Ultravation AS-IH-1001 bulb (the blue base in the picture) it is not the same base thickness. The actual bulb and connector pins are the exact same. This would not be a problem but the air purifier I have requires a certain base thickness in order to plug in and operate.

The price point for This item is half what the cost of the OEM bulb was and yes it is 1,000 lumens less than the OEM bulb. It’s operation and the east of install was great and after about three months of operation I am so glad I got this bulb because the difference was noticeable in just a weeks time . Our air was smelling better and all the sniffles went away .
