I received the compass, but it didn’t come with any adhesive tape or any other way to install it, and ordering tape would cost twice as much as the compass did in the first place.

This compass was a fun stocking stuffer for my husband at Christmas. He loves it and honestly, it's kind of cool to watch as you drive around. It attaches right to the dashboard and can easily be moved. I would definitely recommend.

My hubby needed a compass for his Bass Boat and this compass seemed to fit the bill. Easy to install. We fish both salt and fresh waters, as well as brackish, and fish some pretty desolate marsh areas so this is a must have for us. Lightweight and works well. He gives a thumbs up on it so far. I only give 4 stars bcz time is the only way to know how the elements will affect it. I’ll try to update later on how it’s holding up.

It points North as long as it's not near any electronics. Put it anywhere near a speaker, or computer, or appliance, and it goes bananas. I can't see how this would be functional in a vehicle.

I’m convincd that I developed my internal sense of direction from staring at the ball compass on my Dad’s dash as we travelled around the U.S. so I was thrilled to spot this one on Amazon and it is now installed on my RV dashboard deck.Installation was easy with the included adhesive disk, literally peel and stick. The letters and numbers are bright and large enough to read at a glance. It is sturdy and small enough so it does not obstruct the driver’s view. The directions are accurate (as checked against agreement with my iPhone compass app). Plus, it has the added function of eliminating arguments as to direction when interpreting driving directions such as “continue SE for 5 miles….â€

Looked nice but it says you are going east when you are going north and south when you are going east. Went to peel it off my dash and it took some of the dash with it. Avoid this one.

This compass looks and feels like a quality product and installed very easily, but it only reads the correct direction some of the time. There are no usage directions so I don't know of I'm doing something wrong. I'm really disappointed.

Only able to see the reading if you stick it to vertical glass or something vertical. I was hoping I could mount it on my dash and see it. You may have better results. Seems to read accurately though.
