They work AWSOME as described! I have one on an old 76’ CubCadet tractor With bucket I use in the winter. I plug it in to heat it up in order to start it. After 30-45 in the dead of winter depending on how cold it’s been it starts right up every time! And trying to do so before investing with these heating pads it was a damn NO go. New battery and jumper cables and I couldn’t even get the old girl to turn over quickly enough to fire up. Even with spraying in some fuel into the carb. SO it’s a must have. Just order it!!But DONT leave it plugged in and heating unattended!! It gets that hot, as I wouldn’t trust it being left a loan for any long periods of time.

It was easy to install and hasn't fallen off 4 months and 2,000 miles later.

Works great. Purchased these to keep my pickup transmission warm in the cold winter months. With both of them on the transmission and the engine block heater plugged in, it maintains the temperature about 80-90°F above ambient air temperature, even at -20°F.

Even with automotive adhesive promoter, this stuff will not stick.

One of these pads is ideally sized for the bottom of an R56 Mini Cooper S oil pan, without getting in the way of the oil plug. My car needs a timing chain job soon (chain rattle on cold starts until oil is warm), but it started up in 18 degree F weather this morning without chain noise, because I had one of these heating pads warming the oil pan overnight. Definitely worth the less than $10 per pad cost.
