The ad says it will fit your car, but you need to make sure your car is one where the key needs to be inserted into a slot. Mine was a push button, but even though I stated exactly what model, make, and year of car, they told me it will fit my car, but it did not. That fob needs to sit in a hole in your car that acts as your ignition switch.

For ref: 2005 9-3 Convertible. The key locks, unlocks doors and trunk. Great! But . . .It won't turn in the ignition switch. The car recognizes the key (makes a sound when key is inserted) but the switch will not allow it to turn. There gaps on this key are a little larger than the original and I am assuming that is why it will not turn in the ignition switch.I'm going to request a new key from Amazon and hopefully that will make this review a 5 star.Update.Nope. No Work.I really hate to give a bad review, but this key does not work. Even with a tech 2 it will not turn in the ignition. Car recognizes the key, steering unlocks, but the key won't turn. (doors unlock and trunk - I think fitment is the issue.)I would file the edges or flirt with the key if it didn't cost as much as it does. I can loose 15$ for testing. But this key is 37$ which in my world is $40. Rather just have the money back.Do as you wish, but I have tried two now. I won't try a third key.

The case on this fob is much larger than the OEM. The buttons do not line up at all with the circuit board in the original. Tolerances are much too loose to move internals from OEM to this device. It may be possible to use this fob but only if you get it reprogrammed.

The fob programmed easily with a Tech2, but to get the car to start, you have to push in and wiggle. The other keys I have don't have this issue.

It used to work but now it does not. Changed batteries multiple times, etc. Keep looking...

Total ripoff. Wasted time and money to have keys programmed. SAAB computer identified the keys which were labeled to be the correct key as wrong frequency and wouldn't program.

The buttons feel terrible and have no tactile feedback, the case has a gap towards the key side. The battery came dead. If it works it will be an emergency spare but will not use for daily use.
