I am an uber driver, So on the road more... With cars darting in and out behind me.It's nice to have the safety feature.It works great.the sound is loud and annoying so people seem to notice me a lot quicker and more often..

Installed this on a semi directlyinto the reverse lights. Simple instalation: positive wire to positive terminal and ground wire to ground terminal. The alarm gave clear beeps while the truck is in reverse gear. The problem is when the truck is running. I can barely hear it in the cab with the windows down (15ft away) and can't hear it at all at the back of my trailer (45ft awa). The rumble of the engine just drowns it out completely.This particular model may be a great addition for a car or even a pickup; but not a semi. I'm currently looking to buy a louder alarm
