Just installed today in my 2018 Ram Tradesman. Took about 2 hrs. It literally is a plug in and play. May take a few extra minutes to figure out what connects where. Directions aren’t the greatest. But online videos helps you figure it out. Huge improvement from stock radio. Love that it sits inside the dash and not a portable unit. Looks so much more refined. Happy to have gps on a bigger screen instead of my phone. Bluetooth connected effortlessly to my IPhone 16. It definitely does connect to backup camera. Just have to spend a few more minutes to tuck wires better. Overall very happy with purchase. Very happy with the look and upgrade. Hoping it holds up.

Completely plug and play, I have a 2017 Ram 1500. It took me around an hour to install. Absolutely love it and the fact that it hooks into your factory back up camera easily!

i installed this in a 2019 classic and it works amazing. it even is compatible with the oem rear view camera. only issue is that instructions are not the best and very hard to understand. the installation was pretty self explanatory though so it wasn’t too big of a deal. if you are looking for an after market radio, i’d say it’s worth it.

Instructions for installation were absolutely terrible. Thank goodness my husband is pretty good at figuring things out. We were able to take out the factory radio & install this one in less than an hour. We haven’t installed the backup camera yet though.

I was surprised at how easy it was to install this into my 2014 Ram 1500. Once I watched a video of how to take the old one off, it took me less than 30 minutes to Install the new one. My Ram Bighorn does not have a lot of extra features like steering wheel controls, so that probably helped out. The one thing no one really said in reviews was whether this unit worked with the OEM backup camera and it does.It is worth noting that I chose not to install the GPS antennae because I didn't feel that it was necessary.The only negatives I could see was that my USB port did not work after I installed it. To be fair, it did not work with my stock stereo either, so there must be a problem with the truck wiring on that. The other thing that I was surprised of was that there is no AM radio. Not a huge deal since we only have one small AM station and I generally prefer to play from my phone, but it may be for some people.

Everything worked as advertised but I am extremely disappointed with the sound output. My speakers are so much quieter now after changing from the factory unit. I would have never expected that, but it is way quieter. Also installation is completely up to you because there isn’t much help from the manual. Isn’t very user friendly either. You get what you pay for I guess? For the price it is a good unit, but it definitely leaves you desiring more.

While this was very easy to install, the overall operational usage and compatibility was absolutely useless. The instructional videos for installation on YouTube were in a foreign language, incomprehensible; the customer service contact was through the WHATSAPP communication app or an email that sent to the overseas company; and trying to communicate the issue to get someone to understand what I needed help with was a waste of time.My stereo would connect via BT, but I couldn't connect any wiring to the antenna, and my phone app just decided to NOT WORK anymore. When I would check BT connection while my Pandora music app was playing, my BT connection on my phone would show that is was NOT CONNECTED. So, my biggest issue was trying to figure out how one app was operating via BT while the other was not.The instructions that came with the item offered NO HELP whatsoever. The QR Code activation the item would show wouldn't work with scanned, so that was a waste of time and effort in the production of this item.OVERALL, I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY'S ITEM EVER AGAIN. OR ANYTHING SIMILAR TO THIS ITEM THAT IS SHIPPED FROM OVERSEAS.DON"T WASTE YOUR TIME, EFFORT, MONEY, or HEARTACHE on this item.. Go to Walmart and get a solid AMERICAN MADE PRODUCT that will give you assistance and do what it says it is supposed to do.

This upgrade was simple easy to install, make sure you update software 2 things OS, CAN bus, every thing factory works flawlessly, my rig has a factory amp so the sound is awesome.

For example, a yellow cable must be connected from the device’s main port to its camera port. While it may seem tricky, all the plugs are labeled, making it easy to match and connect them correctly. Once installed, the system operates smoothly and integrates seamlessly into the truck’s panel. Also there are some youtube tutorials available.

It’s alright. I don’t like the touch button volume. I would rather have a knob. Sort of annoying with an iPhone pain in the ass to get Bluetooth connected. And the radio works off a seperate antenna then the factory one. So you have to run a antenna out the truck and stick it on your roof
