I haven't put it on yet cause almost everything else I have bought is bad out of the box and it hasn't ran since I started and want to be fair as this part is super simple .. let me explain .. I bought everything in the ignition system on 92 mercury 70 hp 3 cyl 2 stroke . wanted to replace 42 year old stuff the new coils ohms are completely off one was completely open on the secondary 2 did fire for a few tries while learning everything is bad and having to think ( that ) was the only problem .. had to return the trigger coils now the stator (did) but now doesn't charge at all ( tested with the DVA tester ) all of it is trash except the wires and spark plugs and so far the switch box . even left the kill wire loose to start with as I thought that was the original problem showing .02 volts should and should be dead ground even got a DVA tester for testing the stator and the coils . replaced everything from the spark plug to the kill wire . never has run since started only get to fire now and then when I get a replacement for everything I've bought .. by the time I get some of the parts returned it and back It's too late to return some that I found bad later DO NOT BUY THESE CHINESE KNOCK OFFS IN MY OPINION IT'S JUNK RIGHT OUT OF THE BOX !!!
