I don't know why the reviews aren't good my Covert CX1 came with this rope cocker & i have used it several times & it works just fine It's not ever failed to cock my CX1 & i haven't had not one problem with mine at all It cocks my xbow & that is what it was made for I don't understand why the other reviews are so poor on this cocking rope as i said it cocks my CX1 & that's what it's job is & nothing more I gave it 5 stars because it deserves it what more can anyone want out of a cocking rope it cocks my CX1 & thats that OH Well to each his own i guess
