The threads on the tools supposed to be harder than the aluminum it's going in junk!

Seems the metal isn’t as hard as aluminum as the raised sections/cutting edges wore off trying to thread a husqvarna. Seems the European standard for aluminum exceeds the “harden steel” standard for the manufacture. Worse off then when I started as I only wanted to fix a small section of thread damage, spark plug channel is now mostly smooth without groves

boy those aluminum heads are tricky. once the thread is worn you are in trouble this is much better than having to buy a new head. I put the whole thing in a vice to apply pressure as I turned the tap, that got everything going and it cut a nice new thread. don't forget to put red thread-lock between the insert and the head - so it doesnt come out with the spark plug.

It was too large for my plugs .. this was for a small engine plug and this was for larger size. I didnt get a chance to use it.

ça a fait le travail pour lequel il était attendu, soit réparé les filets pour la bougie d'un moteur. le tareau m'inquiétait un peut par son apparence de faible qualité, il n'est pas coupant, mais ça a fait le travail.
