This kit fits the rear drums on my Honda but one of the auto-tensions seemed to stick together after 15k miles. Replacing with the same kit because the other has held up well.

This hardware is utterly useless. Almost NOTHING from this kit fit my '04 Civic, despite Amazon's claim that it did. The only useful pieces were the shoe retaining pins and clips and the small lower spring. The self-adjuster screws are a good 1/2" too long, the adjuster spring is too long and not angled and the top spring is this ridiculously huge orange thing that is nothing like the original spring. The adjuster ratchet does not have the required pin so there is no way to even mount it. My own damn fault, I should have read the reviews more closely and looked at the pics better but now I'm stuck with it because the parts are all dicked up from me trying to make them work. Don't even consider this item. Move along and save yourself the hassle and frustration.

Nothing in this kit fits 2006 Honda Civic. As a result of this misrepresentation, I lost one day of my time and energy.

This kit was completely useless for a 2005 Honda Civic DX with drums. The spreaders were too wide by 1/2 an inch. Out of the dozen springs only 2 matched up but were low quality. The parts used out of the kit were the retaining pins and the clips. I didn’t need to use them but since I opened it I tried to use the most I could. Don’t waste your money.
