I’ve used this choke before in my mossberg, it shot high and right but pattern was perfect. Along with other carlson chokes and have always been impressed.Out of MY sx4 this choke patterns the LBXR 1 3/4 oz of 5 shot exceptionally well. Very pleased with its performance. I could have taken it further but I feel like 40 is plenty on a bird. Beautiful pattern and beautiful choke. Get one and try it out! (Remember to always pattern your gun with different loads. We owe it to the game we pursue) now, time to try to get my first bird 🤞ðŸ¼

This choke combined with the Long Beard XL shells works very well out of my Benelli SBE. Patterns are super tight out to about 40 yards. Past that I haven't seen the same results others have? This is ok since in my opinion you really shouldn't be trying to take a turkey with a shotgun farther than that anyway.

I run a Remington 11-87 super mag with Winchester XR’s and paired with this choke it’s an incredible combination. Filled a lot of tags with this combo. Definitely worth the money.

Excellent turkey choke. Highly rated by many people more experienced than me but I will tell you that it works as advertised. 6 inch patterns tight and accurate at 30 yards. 40 yards out still excellent. Gun used was a standard issue Remington 870 26 inch barrel.

this choke in my rem 870 and winchester longbeard #4 3 1/2" shells doubled the hits in my turkey target at 50 yards compared to my xtra full remington choke. well worth the money. cant say that i noticed less recoil because of the porting.

Purchased this choke for my Remington 870 12 ga. Throws decent patterns out to 40 yards with handloaded #6 Hevi-shot 13. Will try some different loads to see if I can stretch it out to 50 or 55 yards. This load/choke combo did take a tom at 40 yards here in CA.

I was new to Turkey hunting in 2020 when I bought this. It works great and Carlson is a known brand in the hunting community. I would recommend this to any Turkey hunter!

I have used Long Beard XR #5 3 inch for several years. Recently bought an SBE3 and bought the matching Long Beard XR choke here on Amazon. Wanted to test my range. Here are 2 shots, one at 40 yards one at 50 yards on targets also bought on Amazon. 40 yards is total destruction. 50 yards is a kill shot but probably the outer limit of what I would do. I compared it to another choke using the same ammo. No comparision, this is a much tighter pattern. Highly recommend this choke and the ammo.
