Great turkey slate call for the price. This is my first slate call I’ve bought. Sounds better than my expensive box call. Was able to bag 2 nice 10â€+ bearded Toms this spring using this call. Highly recommend this call at price Amazon sells it for.

Bought as a replacement for the slate call I dropped on a road last year and shattered. Really happy with this call - sounds great and seems to carry sound more effectively than my previous call.

Being able to sound like different hens with a single call is very handy. Toms seem to shy away if they hear the same call, so I either carry multiple calls or just use this one. Great sound right from the package. I've had trouble with other calls in the past getting good sound. Never been a fan of the wooden striker as they have proven unreliable in the past. This one is great. Love the slate and the striker.
