Very nice 90 deg rule, unlike the Irwin rule I just return, this thing is 100% accurate. Highly recommended.

I am the worst person when it comes to math. The little holes makes it easier to measure and use the center punch to accurately mark my spots on pvc and wood.It is lightweight and fits well in the toolbox without taking up space: or it can be hung as well

The LARMEIL 8 inch x 12 inch framing square is actually a pretty good tool, especially at this price. It's made of 3 mm thick aluminum, so it light weight, and being aluminum I'm surprised it arrived nice and flat. I'm not sure what grade of aluminum it is, but it's nice and stiff.I checked it against a machinists square to see if it is truly square, and it looks as good as you'd get for a framing square. I also checked the scales on both legs, and though I expected some inaccuracy as the graduations are printed on, I was pleasantly surprised at how accurate they are. It's better than I've seen on other printed scales on tools.The notches for marking aren't going to be super accurate, but LARMEIL sells a set of stair gauge pins to match the square. They come with a clip to hold them with a carabiner that can slip right into the slot in the square. Repeatability problem solved.This wouldn't last long getting banged around on a job site, but in a small commercial or home shop it's a really good square. Add the stair gauge pins and it's even better.For the price this is an exceptional square.At this price it's an excellent addition to my shop.
