This saved my carpet. My cat sleeps in the second bedroom but she gets into everything at night. She would scratch at my carpet and start ruining it. I got this and made it fit to the door. It was really easy to do and now make carpet is safe from her scratching!

Have had trouble stopping it from curling up but it has stopped the cats from chewing at the carpet at the entryway to our room when the door is shut and they want in so that’s what is most important.

It has saved my carpet from being destroyed by my cat when he wants out of his room. Normally he is out with us but during meal times we like to put him up so he doesn’t steal our food off our plates and he digs in the carpet. This completely stopped him from being able to do that. It doesn’t look pretty but it will save your carpet.

I cut the mat I. Half and placed one piece under our feet area where we sit most often to protect the rug and keep it clean. Easy to pick up when company comes.

Was able to cut it down to fit at the doorway to the basement with a good pair of scissors. Doesn't adhere to the carpet, but that may be because two different carpets meet right there and they're not exactly the same size. Still okay tho since it doesn't move around much and the cat can't pick it up.
