I had bought a gun case for my Ruger 10/22 Charger and was looking for a case for it for a long time, found something at Cabela's it is a spotting scope case, but it fits the Charger pretty good. So, I bought it and after getting it home and opened it up found that the top foam was that junk stuff, the little squares. I don't know why companies use that junk; you can never get anything to fit in it right after you remove the little squares that you need too, to get your gun to fit halfway right. In the past I had bought a gun case from Case Club and let me tell you they are the best cases that I have ever bought. They do not use that junk in their cases. So, I went online to try to buy a piece of their foam to use as the top foam in the case bought it and cut it and everything fits great. If you haven't looked at Case Clubs products you need to check them out. I have many friends and a few brothers in laws buy them as well they all love them. I would bet that if you bought one you will love it. They have great videos that show and tell you all about their products.

Used this Polyethylene foam at 2inches to create a multi-tiered custom pelican case to hold my adjustable trailer hitch when not on the truck. This foam is dense - like a pool noodle and doesn't have a lot of give - perfect for my application. The best part is this Polyethylene appears to be compatible with most CO2 lasers. I used my old Epilog 24TT to create the tiered foam inserts for a Vault 200 Pelican case. Wasn't easy... as my 24TT lacks the power to punch thru the full 2 inches of foam. That said; I did get a passable result.Would buy again. YMMV.

Very well made, easy to cut and personalize with a regular box cutter.
