This CASOMAN 5-inch PU hook and Loop face, random Orbital Backing Plate 5/16”-24 Threads, 12000 RPM Maximum Operating Speed. The velcro backing pad is made of High Quality Polyurethane: durable, lightweight, flexible, heat-resistant and well-balanced.

I recently received my Casoman backing pads. Installed one of them on my Porter Cable RO sander. Fits well and seems well balanced. Time will tell about durability, but the price was excellent. Wanted to go down to 5" (rather than 6") so that I could use for more detailed sanding. Only used for 1/2 hour project thus far, but pleased for the price!

Quick delivery on a cost effective backing plate to use with my PC polisher for detailing work. Hook & loop attachment to my pads is solid. Backing plate size and density/flex is spot on with the original backing plate. Installation was simple. Overall I am very pleased with this purchase and will purchase again when needed.

Out of the box, it seems better quality than the Shurhold original part, at less than a quarter of the price. Time will tell how it holds up.

Using on a 3m da to replace the stikit pad and these are identical in feel and the hook and loop is holding up well after the first week. Recommended
