You will need a level, Phillips screw driver , sds hammer drill with a 6 +inch masonry drill bit and a 3/4 inch sds chisel. And a sealer . There are screws on the inside that you tighten to secure it. They wedge against the brick . My only complaint is give us a full size template.

I didn’t like long sticking screws inside the door that hold door in place. I had to drill holes in the corners and used concrete screws to securely mount the door. Some furnace caulking around the door and silicone tape made door air tight.

Installation was fine. I'm concerned about the approach of using a screw to latch the door as I expect that will rust and become a problem down the road, but after 6-8 months so far it is still able to be removed. I am disappointed however that the paint/coating isn't better, it is rusting significantly after 6-8 months. Overall a decent product, but wish the design/quality were a little better.

This replacement by far exceeds the current one which is thin tin and rotted at the bottom. The current one is 30 years old, so it served its purpose.
