Spent a lot of time reading reviews as I needed these for an engine stand weighing close to 600 lbs when an engine is on it. It soon became obvious that many of the stated capacities by sellers are fictitious. These casters had very high ratings AND good reviews, so I took a chance. They cost a little more than the others but so far it seems like money well spent. The wheels themselves roll on ball bearings, and I have no problem at all moving my loaded engine stand across the garage floor. In fact, it will roll on its own if the floor is not perfectly level, but fortunately the brakes work well so that's not a problem.

Able to withstand excessively heavy loads. Highest quality materials & reliable item.

These are great casters. They come with a nut and a washer. Heavy duty swivel with good locking brakes. You will need a very thin 3/4 inch wrench to hold on to the hex on the swivel as you tighten the nut.

Ok - the weak point appears to be right at the bearings. These can take the downward weight as advertised, but push them across a regular expansion crack (1/8â€-1/4†wide)on a concrete floor when under weight at these caught and bent.

I used these for supporting an acrylic tank 4x4x3. The casters screwed into a custom steel support rack making the tank mobile. Very impressed. Supporting roughly 3200 lbs.

Currently I have these installed on a rack from the wholeseller whose name starts with C, that didn't come with any wheels. I am currently loading down the cart with approx 700 lbs and it feels and moves very smooth. This is really well made and don't think I'll have any issues at all for many years to come. The parking brakes are really firm, and these move effortlessly over my garage floor with all that weight. I do try to push the cart slowly to give it time to overcome static friction but the wheel bearings move with ease. So glad I bought these, as the first set were rated for 880 lbs but quickly broke with the ball bearings falling all over the floor. Buy these, you won't regret it!

The quality is much better than what I usually expect from amazon.(4) of these casters are on a 1600# load with no issues.
