It is hard to turn on. A clearly visible "Recording" light would be helpful. It is all one-button press, so "on" and "record" are the same button.After a couple of non recordings, We got some good video. Under Fences, over the Creek, Even in the "dry" storm drain. A lot of sitting in the sun.Battery life is good, well over an hour. It records a lot of video and breaks it up into smaller files making it easier to get to the highlights. And there is a lot of dull time where my cat just sits. The other thing is that there is no image stabilization. The camera really bounces around as the cat moves. I found half speed playback worked best for me to see details when the cat was in motion.I think that you could make some decent video with a lot of editing and good software to help stabilize the image.The cat got used to the collar quickly. After a few dry runs, we slid the camera into the holder on the collar and off he went.

This pet camera is perfect for my cat Onyx. I was worried that it would be too tight around his neck, but the adjustable straps fit great without it being too snug. Almost immediately the tiny zip tie holding the camera in place broke, very flimsy and not good quality. There is no protective film over the lens either.
