This cat litter mat litter trapping mat does a great job at catching litter as my cats exit their litter box. Nice size for an average litter box. Put the mat under litter box to protect the carpet well

I love this style of cat litter mat. It really does the job exactly as promised. I dump SO MUCH litter out of it and back into the pan. It is well made, and unlike my last one, doesn't feel like it is going to fall apart. My previous model, while machine washable, was two layers held together with snaps that I always worried would damage or floor if stepped on. No such worries here. It's easy to deep clean with a little soap and the hose if need be (hey, accidents happen, right?) The size fits perfectly in our litter box area and the dark color hides dirt, blends with our dark floor.

With four cats and five litter boxes, I have multiple litter mats in multiple places in my house. They all help with litter scattering, but they aren't a panacea. My favorites tend to be the ones that are two layers, like this one, which have holes in the top layer and a solid bottom layer to trap the litter. There's an opening at one end, so you can dump the scattered litter back into the box.This mat is larger than any of the others I have, and I'm still finding the right place for it because of that. But I'm confident it will provide good coverage wherever it ultimately winds up. What I'm less certain about is how it will hold up. It's thinner and lighter than the other two-layer mats I have, and it even arrived folded up in a box, whereas all the others have arrived flat. (Time will tell how long it will take the folds to disappear, though they seem to be flattening already.) One interesting thing is that I ordered the gray option, and while the top is gray, the holes are so large that the bottom layer, which is black, is dominating, so the overall effect is black. It's not really a big deal for me, but it might be for someone else who's trying to match a color scheme.All in all a nice enough litter mat, though I wish it was a bit more robust. And if I were to order another, I'd probably rethink the size.

I run a cat sanctuary. I have 15 special needs, rescue cats and 10 litter boxes. Some of the cats mark. Everywhere.So I was looking for a urine proof pad to go under One of my larger litter boxes to protect the carpet since some of the cats pee on the side of the litter box instead of in it.I think this litter pad is perfect for that. I have gigantic litter boxes and this pad fit perfectly around the base of the box to catch any urine. The pad has two layers. The top layer catches stray litter. The bottom layer is thin but appears to be durable and waterproof. I think this pad will work great.

I have multiple cats and use the largest size litter boxes because of that. The large size of this litter mat is bigger than any other litter mat I’ve seen. It is also much more flexible (thinner) than these types of litter mats generally are, so if you use a corner litter box, you will be able to bend it up at the corners for the best coverage. I’m pleased with it.
