This is the best cat poo scooper I've had. Usually the holes aren't small enough for the tiny clumps left behind, they always slide out of the other scooters. Not this one. This one has holes small enough that all the litter goes back in the nox, boot the tiny clumpsnof pee and poo stay on the scoop to be tossed. Nice and durable.

The holes in the scooper are too small to allow the kitty litter to sift through.It takes forever to clean the litter box with this scooper. You have to shake a longtime to get most of the litter to fall through. Very frustrating. I returned it today.

This litter scoop has the potential to help sieve the tiny, dirty particles in the litter. The holes seemed to be ideal on the photo; however, the litter would not go through the holes. Now, I am using Freshstep litter for the clumping factor and low powder. Perhaps other litter would go through this scoop more quickly. This did help to scoop up the small, dirty clumps but I had to throw good litter away in process. It really depends I think on the brand you’re using.

This is a very good scooper that will last for many years. Unfortunately the slots are too large and allow small pieces of waste to go through. I'll give it to a friend of mine.

I had been looking Just a kitty litter scoop that did not have wide slots. As I frequently had so much of the soil litter fall through while cleaning. There aren’t many scoops out there that are not designed with wider slots. I came across a few that were marketed for reptile terrariums That did in fact have smaller round holes on the scoop as opposed to the wider slots. But then some were seemingly too small for what I was looking.I am A long time purchaser of the Arm and Hammerâ„¢ï¸Clump and SealÂ®ï¸ Kitty litter. So there is quite a bit of it that does not require a scoop with tiny holes however, It also is easily removed with any type of litter scoop. But for the smaller pieces of soiled clumps, I needed something to sift the litter and contain the smaller pieces in the scoop. This product does just that. Oh I understand it wouldn’t be appropriate for all types of kitty litter however for the type that I use it is perfect as it does everything I needed to without requiring me to go back through and try to remove the smaller pieces. Mastics seems a little more flimsy than the standard kitty litter scoop, but it is pretty durable and it holds up just fine even to the weighted scoops of soiled litter. So has a square and which allows you to get into the corner of the litter box with ease. It makes cleaning the litter box a breeze. I would definitely recommend it for those looking for a scoop that is sufficient enough to use for a clumping litter but also able to contain the pieces that would fall through the slotted scoops otherwise.

Holes are too small to allow proper sifting of the litter. I'll be opening the holes a litter bigger. Update: after opening the holes, it still doesn't sift correctly

I purchased the 4mm. I have a PetSafe self cleaning litter box and use Arm & Hammer multi cat clumping litter. I love this litterbox but it tends to leave a layer at the bottom of the pan and small clumps that my Walmart purchased litter scoop wouldnt grab. This is a sifting scoop, it takes some work. BUT it gets all the little clumps and the litter falls through perfectly. Plus its sturdy enough to scrape away the stuck on layer at the bottom.Get the 4mm - it works GREAT.

This scoop is fantastic and is exactly what I was looking for. The holes are just small enough to catch all of the little left behind crusties but not too small that it would be impossible to use. It does take a bit longer to scoop the litter using this scoop rather than a normal one, but to me it's worth it to have a cleaner box afterward for my kitties.

This was for my cat. I got this because the holes of my scooper were too big. This has just the right size to catch the little bits IF you get the 4mm size one. I feel the 3mm size one would have holes a bit too small for cat litter. It is very sturdy too. Good size as well.

I wanted a scoop that was more fine and could get that's pesky tiny bits of litter for a cleaner box. This does the trick. Keep in mind though, unless you have litter that is fine, it will not sift. Even the one I do use (ARM & HAMMER Clump & Seal Cat Litter and ARM & HAMMER Clump & Seal SLIDE Cat Litter) require a bit of patience to sift. Wish it weren't so fine but gets the job done.

For a normal cat litter it doesn't sift as well. The litter needs to be fine or sandy since the holes are small. It can still work but you have to be patient and slow with it. If only there's a version with a slight bigger holes then that would be perfect for cat litter.
