I ordered this to go with our stainless steel litter box. I chose this one as it’s challenging for my Mom and sister to bend over so far to scoop the litter box when we aren’t home. This has worked out very well and pairs well with the stainless steel litter box.

We have an adult cat, so she's fairly large. We got her a large, enclosed litter box so she has room in there, and enclosed so she flings less litter around when she "flushes." So our former scoop was somewhat difficult to use, and we'd have to take the lid off to scoop. This is very sturdy, and the extra length is very convenient. Only drawback is that if I turn the scoop at times, the handle extension wants to start to unscrew. But being metal and being a long handle, it's the best scoop we've used.

We use this long-handled scooper for our beach sand. No matter how hard we try, the waterfowl do encroach and leave their mark, so this is an easy way to clean up their mess without prolonged or repeated stooping. Lightweight but sturdy construction, easy to use.

My scoop is not black its metal ..the sticker says its an Acalu cat litter scoop metal, it is 32". I'm sorry but it looks used. The scoop inside is tarnished like when water residue stains a metal, the back of the scoop has scratch marks going horizontal and the scoop where slots are the scratch marks are vertical ..could be a factory glitch, but I was expecting a shiny metal like the back is, the front looks like the shine has been washed off...I guess I'll keep it, Too late to return I'm going in hospital major surgery and wont be able to bend, and pick up.. it works well, does what it's intended for.. It'd be nice to have some refund if is a returned item cleaned up. If this is the way they look, I apologize for thinking it looks used.
