I bought these 2 tubes to replace 2 broken tubes on my kitties tree. The original posts were blue like the rest of the tree. My cat likes to get up high then jump down that's what wore down the original posts. It was easy to take apart bits of the tree to add these posts. It adds uniqueness in appearance to the tree. They ended up being taller than the original posts. They seem thick and durable. Overall I love my purchase.

I made the mistake by not measuring the posts to the tree. They were to short.I had to made it work. Overall my cat loves the scratching post. The quality is good and scratching ability is great.
