The carpet worked great on my cat scratcher. The cats like using it so that’s a huge plus!! It sticks onto the wood but you do have to go back and reapply it as it comes loose from board.

I used it on my kittens 'cat' wall. The adhesive is enough to stick to the wood platforms. It offers resistance for when he is climbing. I have not tried it for a scratch post though, if you were to use it as a vertical scratch pad you would most likely want to screw it onto a frame as I am not sure the adhesive would be sticky enough; it sticks to a horizontal surface enough for a landing pad though. It is easy to cut into the shape you need.

I ended up cutting this into multiple areas, most on the walls and some on the end of my couch. Super easy to put up once you take the clear coat off the sticky side. It's been a couple of weeks and nothing has fallen or moved. Great for my cats and my sanity

It stayed in place. My cat had scratched one side of my couch, so I've removed all the couch cloth, keeping only the exposed wood. I have glued this product on the wood (without the tape) and it is still in place even months later. My cat eventually scratches it, even though they're still scratching other couch parts. No complaints about the product.
