This is horrible to put together. The screws do not go all the way into the round rod. The frame isn't sturdy at all and it doesn't stay on the windowsill unless the window is open! Returning all 3.

This is sturdy and easy to put together. Locks tight and I can still close and lock the window. The cat loves it. She is on the petite side, about 6lbs.

I sent this back the same day it arrived. I have a standard window and the only way it sits in the window right is if the window is open.

This is a nice cat perch and goes together easily, however you can't tighten the frame because the dowel "slips" as you tighten - have to take a pretty strong wrench to hold the dowel while you tighten. With that said, you can't remove the cover without totally disassembling the frame so have to repeat the process. Overall though a good purchase.

Having a few different brands of these in my opinion I think this does just a good job as most them but how this one has the legs on the adjusting part lets up you use it on a window sill or just lay it on the ground oe.. Yet It still easy too put together. Once set up, you have multiple places you could put this throughout your house from on the corner of your dresser and drawer, to hang off your windowsill, and many more places if you get creative. But the big thing is, I’ve noticed, is that all my cats love these type of hammocks and sun bathing in the sun in the windows.

I live in an apt with a window gate, so this works excellent with the "hooks" to latch on to the base. I've used a few cat window beds with suction cups to various success - all it takes it one to give for my cat to distrust it (I don't blame her!) so was looking for something more sturdy. This feels well made, assembly is easy but long screws give me confidence that it will hold up even to playful leaps or a larger cat using it. Very easy to attach and move as needed. Wood has light pine scent. Only item I wish is that it gave more than one hammock option, as the orange is a bit strong from my taste.
