The control of the this laptop light bar is on the end of USB plug.
A 0.5 second touch can turn on the light.( It is designed there is a short delay between the touch and turning the light on, to avoid miss touch)
A sshort press will change its color temperature.
A long press will adjust its brightness steplessly
A double touch will turn off the light.
The light bar itself can be rotated to adjust the direction of the light.
The lampshade is also adjustable.

Great light! I love that this sits on top of the screen. It provides better light than a lamp! Only thing is I wish the cord was longer because I can’t plug anything into my computer. But other than that. Great night!

Bought this just over 6 months ago for my office. Had the cord plugged into my computer and worked fine. However it abruptly stopped turning on last week for whatever reason with any noticeable cause or change. Seems I will likely need to pay out of pocket to replace as they dont seem to have any form of warranty. Even if for only a year.

I need extra light for my laptop and found this. It was the perfect solution. The dimmer feature is particularly useful since the amount of light in my room changes during the day. It's as adjustable as anyone would need. If there were anything I would change I would suggest making the cord a little longer. The USB port I have to plug it into makes the cord a but of a hazard if you have to reach for something on that side (or a cat gets in the way). Otherwise it's perfect for my needs.

Arrived fast, works great! While the cord does stretch it would be nice if it was about 2 inches/50mm/5cm longer as using the stretch part adds stress and that added stress will cause failure in a sooner time.

Touch the usb connector to adjust the color temperature of LEDs, vary brightness up or down, and turn on and off when needed.Must take care of touching the connector with your leg even through pants, while using the laptop in your lap.

This was nice and bright and I 'was' pleased with it. But right after the return window closed I can no longer turn it on and off with the touch control. So now it is basically a pain in the arse to use. I have to take it off and unplug/plug it in every time I want to use it. Waste of money in my opinion. I do not recommend this. A switch would have been better than the touch control. UPDATE: Seller reached out quickly and offered a full refund. Perhaps I just got a bad unit. Review changed from 2 stars to 3 stars due to the good response.

Bought one for myself and another as a gift. Worked great for a while then breaks apart. Both broke within a week or two of use. Very fragile plastic. Trying to glue the broken parts. Not having much luck.

Just a warning for ppl. The way uts constructed is very basic. The tap controls works with a spring the sometimes doesnt have a good enough connection so itll be sensitive or outright not work. I fixed it myself by taking off the end cap and and pull the spring out more for better contact. After that it worked great. Id steer clear if ur not gonna fix it. Waste of money if i didnt take it apart
