This twine did leave some red dye on my sourdough. Perhaps this was because it's baked at a very high temp. Good value for the price. Quality durable twine that looks nice. Can be used for baking or decorating.

I got this twine because the national chain store where I used to get this kind of thing stopped selling it. Theirs was a nice cotton string, heavier than this one, but this one is less expensive than others, so I ordered a bunch. The alternative was a giant spool of bakery twine which is quite thin. This is a good alternative.

I needed this to wrap small gifts for my friends, so sturdiness or durability was not a special quality I was looking for. But in my opinion, it can be quite good and durable for other purposes as well.
