The add says in big letters that the pulleys are stainless and they are not. It also says that the pulleys will fit 1/2 to 3/4 cable and the groove is barely over 1/2 inch wide. This size pulley is usually used for 3/8 cable. If the description was correct there are much cheaper snatch pulleys with the same specifications.

While the block seems sturdy, its advertised rope capacity is WRONG! The pulley groove measures .56 inch wide. That is OK for a half inch rope, but does not accept a 5/8 inch rope. I bought it to accommodate a 5/8 inch rope and promptly returned it. Too bad it is falsely described.

The first time I used this one of the spring clips or washer flew off rendering the device useless.
