I had to drop a dozen beetle kill pines in a day. Biggest was 165 feet high by 3 feet at the base. To minimize peripheral damage, I used these(2), and a 150 foot rope, to steer the fall. I used compound leverage, and had my puller safely out of the way. Worked like a charm. Pulleys are solid, have a grease fitting, and the split plate design makes for super fast roping. No pulling a line through was very nice. I highly recommend these units.

Snatch block is well made, it can be greased, have used several times. No issues. Will buy again.

This is a big and beefy block for a great price. There is no way for me to get anywhere near it's weight capacity to see how it will hold. But it can easily handle the tree work with 5/8 bull rope that I bought it for. I like that it has a grease valve on the axel. Overall, good value for a hefty block.

Nice that it has a Zerk fitting. This is heavy and seems well built. Again one of those recovery products that you hope you never need but have it just incase. I do recommend this.

Work very well , I used 3/4 in rope hooked to a side by side Defender to pull over a 30 in beach tree will keeping my Defender complete out of the area I fell the tree in.
